    Young beef industry enthusiasts are an integral and essential group. The Charolais Society aims to assist any young person to become more involved in the beef industry through our network and events.

    Muster

    One of the flagship events on the calendar is the Charolais Youth Muster that is held each year. The program covers all manner of practical skills from handling cattle and preparing for exhibition to nutrition, steer selection, cattle assesment and marketing concepts.

    Anyone aged between 8 – 25 is eligible to enter. In fact many parents enjoy staying over to listen to a very informative and fun few days.

    The event is usually held in the school holidays in Qld. Numbers are limited to about 80 so continue to re-visit this site – or join up (free for under 18′s) to be sent the information first ! Find out more about membership here.
