About the Society
Welcome to the Charolais Society of Australia.
Charolais are one of the most important beef breeds in Australia today, famous worldwide for their ability to add profit to beef production.
Our Society is run by cattle people for cattle people. The Society is a dynamic organisation made up of like minded cattle producers, with members across Australia. The Society is run by a Federal Council, which is made up of state representatives, and two federally elected councillors. Each state also has a Regional committee which is actively involved in the promotion of the breed within each state under the umbrella of the Federal organisation. The head office is based in Armidale NSW, and consists of a General Manager, Registrar, Accounts Manager and Office Manager.
