    Top price bull $26,000 was lot 5 Mount William Monolith (AI) (P). Sired by Palgrove Hannibal. Out of Mount William Greenie BS G122E sired by Rosedale Boss.
    He is Top 1% of the breed for EMA, Carcase Weight, 200,400 & 600 Day weights, Top 5% for Scrotal Size, Rib Fat, Mature Cow Weight & Milk, Top 15% for Calving Ease Direct. This sire weighed 992kg at 22.5 months of age with an EMA scan of  141cm2. Rosedale Charolais were the successful purchaser setting a new Victorian auction record. Overall 37 from 38 bulls offered sold to a top of $26,000 average $8202 and 17 from 18 heifers offered sold to a top of $5750 average $2685. Second Top price Bull at $22,000 was Lot 9 Mt William Middleburg (P) (RF) sired by Palgrove Hannibal out of Mt William Fresh BS F51E by Kadlunga Victor.He was purchased by Graeme Stephens. The Palgrove Hannibal progeny was very well received. 20 Hannibal sons sold averaging $10,875.

    In the Heifers the Top price was $5750 for Lot 57 Mt William Molly BS M130E (P) (RF) sired by Palgrove Hannibal out of Palgrove Estella PKZ216E. She was Top 1% of the Breed for EMA.  She was PTIC to Talgoona Lanky CG L33E. She was purchased by J & S Charolais of Currency Creek SA.

    Volume buyers were TP Dove 5 bulls average $9100, Woodrowvale Pastoral 4 bulls Average $10,250 and Balderstone Pastoral 3 Bulls Average $4666.

    To cap off a great week Mt William placed second in the Victorian RASV Heifer Competition.

    Mt William Monolith (P) purchased by Rosedale Charolais stud for $26,000.
