• Pickles Auctions “National Showcase 2017”

    Following on from its successful debut last year an increased field of cattle contested the 2017 Pickles Auctions Charolais National Showcase. In total 132 head competed under the astute judging of Mr Peter Cook, Barana Simmentals, Coolah. After considerable success at Sydney Royal Steve and Louie Franco’s Caloona Park Little Hero won the Supreme Exhibit after winning senior and grand champion male. This well grown and powerful young sire weighed 988kg at 21 months with an EMA of 139cm2. Gavin & Kristie O’Brien exhibited the senior and grand champion female with Winchester Quist J24E. Champions are shown below and full class results will be published in the next Charolais Express or are available on the Charolais Society Facebook page.

    Intermediate Champion Female LKT Little Inquistive exhibited by Will Lockhart and held by Laura Lockhart with Ann-Marie Collins


    Junior Champion Bull DSK TGL Max M69E sponsored by Glenlea Beef and sashed by Nigel Spink with exhibitor Chris Knox.
