The Inaugural Autumn Ascot sale saw 20 of 23 charolais bulls sold to a top of $18,000 to average $6,750 The feature was 3 homozygous polled bulls selling to a top of $18,000 to average $12,300. All bulls went to commercial operators in Qld & NSW with the top price bull Lot 28 Ascot Leverage (pic) a son of Ascot Eldorado going to Ian Macaulay , Kilcoy to go over red polled Santa cross cows. Heifers went to both stud & commercial buyers in Qld, NSW & Victoria. Forty of 41 Charolais heifers sold to a top of $5,000 to average $2,712. The Ascot Angus offering saw heifers average $3418 and bulls $7375. Overall gross was $ 547,000 with 95% overall clearance for sale.
