    Females meet with strong demand at the 7th Annual Charnelle Female sale. Valley View Rebby 14 (P) topped the female offering at $10250 selling to Roderick Binny who then purchased a half sister for $8250. The dam of these two females, Gobongo Rebby D213E (P) sold as a nine year female to Clare Charolais for $5,500. The Platzer Family sold Sanlara Park Giselle with an impressive bull calf at foot for $7250 to Milford Pastoral Co. Milford also took Branch View Xquisite K29 (P) at $7250. Charnelle Friesia 4 (P) was sold for $8500 to Glenlea Charolais.Lot 35, Charnelle Digna 154 (P) was sold with all proceeds going to the RFDS and Lifeflight. CCJs Chaorlais purchased this weaner heifer for $3750. Bulls topped at $4000  for Jay Tees Light of Day sired by Artosis to the Morris Family, Crows Nest. Overall in the live lots 45 females sold to average $4050 with two bulls selling to average $3750.

    Several genetic packages sold with all proceeds donated to the RFDS and Lifeflight. Valley View Charolais sold a package of 3 embryos for $400 each to David Ellis form the joining of Triple J Pacman and Palgrove Estella 214. Valley View also sold 4 embryos from THW Friesia to Mitchell Lollbeck for $300 each. David and Prue Bondfield offered 10 straws of Palgrove Koshe (P/S) selling for $500 a straw to John Henry. Bettafield Charolais sold 10 straws in Bettafield Dynamite to James Pisaturo for $150 a straw and Caitlin Warner paid $230 a straw for ten straws of CML Distinction 318A offered by Charnelle. All other genetic lots had 10% of their proceeds added to the charity fundraiser and Elders donated their commission on the charity lots. In total over $19000 was raised for these two essential services to the Australian community.

    Charnelle Digna 154 sold for $3750 to support RFDS and Life Flight. Graham Blanch holds Digna with Caity Cox, Andrew, Charlotte and Jessica Cooper from CCJ’s Charolais admiring their purchase.
