Riverglen’s pen of 3 Charolais X heifers had the best possible combination of meat yield and meat quality among the 61 pens entered. The heifers were sweetly placed for fat coverage and depth.  A performance based payment of $3.937/kg, paid over $1000 for each carcase.  The best of Riverglen’s heifers was awarded Reserve Champion Carcase.
